Timber Lake gearing up for annual celebration, rodeo

Timber Lake has celebrated its 1910 beginnings almost every year since 1911, when 3000 people attended the rodeo and celebration, which was held in August. The celebrations were paused during the Depression years of the 1930s and again due to the polio epidemic in 1946 but always the community rebounded.
